Best Bible Program I've Found
When we purchase a new computer, we were unable to transfer QuickVerse Bible Program to the new system. I hunted the internet for a replacement, and found Quickverse did not seem to make a version for Windows 10. My search quickly turned up SwordSearcher and the problem was solved! This program has fewer Bible translations than what I was using, but the translations, dictionaries, and commentaries are MORE than enough to satisfy the hungriest student of God's word. Easy to install. Up and running in minutes. You can play with the buttons and tabs and figure it out yourself, or use the help feature, or videos on the manufacturer's website to guide you. Well worth the money!

Great Product
For a Bible student or teacher who wants to delve deeper into God's Word, SwordSearcher is a wonderful tool! Study and research of any topic can become quite tedious. However, SwordSearcher arranges numerous theology tools at one's fingertips to ease the burden and quicken the research process by taking out some of the tedious steps. For instance, if you commonly do word studies, turning through a massive Strongs Concordance is usually the only option - that or web based browsing tools such as biblegateway.com. Swordsearcher puts all that in one place. If you use the KJV with Strongs Links option of SwordSearcher, then your Bible text comes with the Greek or Hebrew word right next to the English word. You simple click on the word you want to look up and it automatically finds the Strongs entry for you. Then, you click on the Strongs entry and it automatically finds every usage of the word in the Bible. A word study done in two clicks! How awesome is that? Beyond that, SwordSearcher makes commentary reading a snap. Not only are the Greek or Hebrew words right along side the regular English text, also to the side of the text are links to every commentary that SwordSearcher has. If there are twenty commentaries loaded, and I am looking at a passage like John 1, then every commentary that has something written about John 1 will display a link to the side. You simply click the commentary you want, and the text will pop up for you. And finally, adding everything I just said together, SwordSearcher displays all four windows at once - the Bible with Strongs links (top left), the Strongs definition of the word (top right), every usage of that word in the Bible (bottom left), and the commentary text (bottom right) (this might be editable, I have never tried because I find it immensely useful as is). This tool makes study so simple. For experts, it will shorten your study time. For novice's, you'll find the easy access to information as a great way to finally grow deeper in the word, without having to own a theological library. It is a theological library. Clear up your desk space, and use this great software to grow deeper in the word, faster. I was given my SwordSearcher software when I entered seminary. Since then I have purchased the software for two other individuals. Why? Because it helps me so much, I knew it could be a great help to these two other individuals. It's not a flashy software, it's all meat and potatoes, and I love meat and potatoes!

Check out the web site first. [...] Everything is linked together and can be accessed by one click. The best thing is the ability to import and link additional books and commentaries. You can view the Greek (Westcott Hort or Texus Receptus) long side the bible of choice. My wife uses it with precepts and loves it. She wanted the NASB added on and purchased for $14. You can choose what references you want to use and exclude the rest from the screen to reduce the huge selection of references like the Arabic bible (I should learn Arabic). The program will read the bible verses to you if you have a bible on cd (mp3 format). The down side is I don't use my paper bible much I just tote by net book with me and have all my notes and refrences on hand. But there is something comforting about touching the paper....

It is all and more than I needed. Comments about it using "public domain" materials - so what? They've taken the trouble to gather them all for me and the "older" does not necessarily always mean out-of-date or any less relevant. As for any of the more recent or other than is included in this software, then e-Sword would be a good and acceptable (free) compliment to this. No complaints.

Feature Rich Bible Study Program
I bought this program to replace a Bible study program that was rendered obsolete by my upgrade to Windows 10. I have been very pleased with the product. This is a feature rich Bible study program with a lot of functionality that you would you will find only in very expensive Bible Study programs. It does not contain the NIV version (which I dearly love) but it does contain the WEB version of the bible which is a more modern translation of the Bible. One very cool feature is that it allows you to create books from your own personal Bible studies and import them into the product turning them into your own personal study guides that can be referenced directly inside SwordSearcher. It has many other great features as well which I hope you will research at the product's website. For those of you who study the Bible, you will find SwordSearcher to be a very useful addition to your Bible study regimen.

If you are looking for a good study suite to open your heart to the word of God this is good one to have. I have been using it for sometime and rediscovered it when I wanted to read through the bible in a year. However, I started to use the reading schedule as a study schedule and realized how some of the teachings that I have had over the years were not complete. Now that I am doing this on my own it has help me emotionally, physically and spiritually as well. I plan to continue to use this software and look forward to sharing this with other members of my family. Recently I had upgraded to the most current version followed by a system problem which caused me to loose the software. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the response was when I sent information to the company explaining what had happen and they resent me information as to how to reinstall the software. I was prepared to wait for several days and the response was under a couple of hours after sending the email. I plan to share this with others in my travels as such permits. Remember you get out of life what you put into life. Happy studying!

The Very Best
Without a single solitary doubt the best Bible study system ever created. Expecially if you hold the King James Bible as your Authority. So many different Avenues you can take to store your information, store notes, do research. It has it all. Just too much to list what you can do on this system. If you love the King James Bible like I do? This is a must you have!!! I can't tell you how much I will treasure this. Don't waste a minute, get this CD ROM here and now. Excellent Bible Study Software
I ordered this product via the Amazon.com site, but it was shipped from the retailer. I had it shipped at the slow 5 to 9 day rate, but it was still delivered two days after I ordered it. Apparently, the retailers, Study Lamp, provide excellent customer service. The software itself is outstanding. There are a variety of Bibles and even Hebrew and Greek interpretation. Plus, there are numerous reputable concordances and commentaries on Biblical text. It makes doing Bible research both easy and enjoyable. What I also liked about this software is that you can install it directly on your hard drive, and then store the CD away. I always hated having to hunt down the CD and pop it in the CD-Rom every time I wanted to access a program. I would not hesitate to purchase from these vendors again. Great Bible resource
This is full of many resources for studying and learning the Bible. Compared to other Bible software packages this is the best bargain out there and has plenty of extras for most who want to increase their knowledge of the Bible. I give it five stars, however I would like to see more Bible versions available. I would also like to have Hebrew and Greek pronunciation and map resources.

This software is excellent!
There are so many variations and subtleties in the wide variety of translations that are available, to get a better understanding you sometimes just need to drill down to the oldest language a scripture is available in (Hebrew or Greek), and this software makes that task super easy. My Strong's Concordance will stay on the shelf from now on. This software displays the original words just below the English, and when you hover the mouse, the definition pops up in a window over the text. No need to scan from one column to another to see the meaning of the word. To the right of the verse is a list of of commentaries that behave the same way...just hover, and the commentary pops up! WAY less looking from page to page to answer a question. This software is excellent!
